Safe work practices and proper installations are essential to mitigate these risks. To support the growing demand for skilled electrical workers in Indonesia, ODG Indonesia recognizes the importance of formal technical training and accreditation for national electrical trade skills and the application of renewable technologies. A major challenge in the undertaking of formal technical training is assessing candidate competence during recruitment.

Students are practicing installing telecommunications equipment at the TSDC ODG Indonesia training facility. They are learning firsthand how to install and terminate 30-pair cables into Krone blocks on the MDF (Main Distribution Frame) Panel.

The results of this practice produce two important types of connections:

• RJ45 port – for data/internet networks
• RJ11 port – for analog telephone connections

Through this practice, participants not only understand the theory but also develop the skills to set up telecommunications infrastructure professionally.
