Raising Electrical Standards in
Indonesia:
Safety, Quality, and Efficiency
PT ODG Nusantara Jaya (subsidiary of PT ODG Indonesia) is proud to introduce our Technical Skill Development Centre (TSDC). This program combines classroom learning with practical, hands-on workshop activities—ensuring your technicians not only understand the theory behind electrical installations but can confidently apply it safely and effectively in workplace conditions.
Developed in alignment with the internationally recognized Holmesglen TAFE curriculum, this training is ideal for companies seeking to strengthen technical capability, improve safety standards, elevate on-site performance and quality of installations.
A Collaboration Between:
The curriculum was tailored to suit Indonesian requirements in English / Bahasa bilingual module delivery, designed and distributed by Holmesglen, Victoria TAFE Institute, Australia and comprising 6 Skill Set modules delivered across a time span of 3 years. The Skill Set modules incorporate the theoretical teaching of electrical principles and practical teaching of basic electrical wiring installations which complement the trainees – everyday employment duties with ongoing monitoring to ensure the trainee is gaining maximum exposure to the variety of electrical installation skills throughout their employment.
TSDC was initially established with support from lA CEPA ECP Katalis; a unique, five-year (2020-2025) government backed business development program to create a stronger economic partnership between Indonesia and Australia. Katalis supported PT ODG Nusantara Jaya’s vision by funding Holmesglen to provide six customised electrical Skill Sets aligned with an Australian electrical apprenticeship, delivered by TSDC’s National trainers whom have attended training and class room mentoring for delivering the electrotechnology modules by Holmesglen’s expatriate trainers to the competency level of Australian vocational educators.
